Since the age of sixteen, Eddie Kidd was recognised as the world's greatest motorcycle stuntman, a title he held for twenty years. Although he broke every record, his biggest achievement was yet to come.

Eddie's rugged good looks won him many stunt double roles in action movies but he never took any unnecessary risks. He was always in search of the ultimate stunt, so when challenged to jump over the Great Wall of China, he immediately accepted.

Crew and equipment were sent to a designated site along the Great Wall, where the ramp was erected for the 'Stunt of the Century.'

Whilst Eddie was checking his motorbike, Mai Ling, a beautiful Chinese girl, led her blind grandfather to meet the British superstar. He told Eddie, some incredible facts that were not in any history book and made him promise to keep them a secret.

He learnt that over a million men died while building the Great Wall and were buried in the foundations.Although it spanned ten thousand kilometres all their souls would unite to carry him into another time.

Eddie dismissed the story as the ramblings of a senile old man. Nevertheless, he accepted a gift of an ivory box and slipped it into his jacket pocket, just for luck.

On the day of the jump, with the world's media and one hundred thousand guests watching, Eddie accelerated down the ramp and leapt over the wall, man and machine in perfect harmony.

In a flash, Eddie passed through a time window and landed in the twelfth century amongst hoards of invading Mongolian warriors, who were beheading Chinese prisoners. The surprise of a one eyed monster on a mechanical horse crashing through their camp, sent the barbarians into a state of panic and allowed a Chinese army officer to escape execution.

The terrified Chinaman had no choice but to jump onto the back of Eddie’s bike, as they made a dramatic break for freedom. Only when an arrow pierced the ivory box and saved Eddie's life, did they discover the contents; a secret formula for making gunpowder that would change the course of history...
