Uncle
Max is the owner of the diner. A large beefy character, with a
big personality, big car along with a big mouth. He is bluntly
spoken, chauvinistic and verbally abusive to his staff and constantly
reminds them that the customers are their number one priority
(any customer is profit in his eyes). He likes to be the centre
of attention and play Mr Big, which he thinks allows him to charm
the ladies. Has a love hate relationship with his wife, Bessy,
although they occasionally appear in amateur porn magazines together.

Profile: A magnetic and dedicated actor
with extensive experience in film and theatre. He envelopes a
role and gives that little bit extra with every performance. While
he has diverse and action abilities, his charm and good looks
appeal to all. Credits include; 'The

Stranger,
rough and ready, deep evil eyes with a cunning smile. He is a
psychopathic killer who preys on his victims when they are alone
in their cars. He is an evil and malevolent person who says only
one word in the film 'COFFEE'. However, he has a very strong presence
throughout the film, but his silence creates at disturbing atmosphere
amongst the diner's staff.

Profile: An actress in her early twenties
who has physical capabilities of playing younger. A fun loving
character with elegance and innocence and a good ear for accents.
Graduated from Rose Bruford College in 1999. Her professional
work is predominately theatrical, credits include: 'Chrysalis
Theatre Tour', 'The Crucible',
'A Little Hotel On The Side',
'Saturday, Sunday, Monday' and 'Much
Ado About Nothing'. Also performed with the National
Youth Theatre of Wales including 'Epsom
Downs', 'The Beggar's Opera'
and 'The Mystery Plays'. Commercial
and promotional work for SC4 films.
Juliet
is in her late teens (dark hair), The English Rose, gentle, innocent,
pretty, hard working, strong and determined, lives life to the
full. She has been travelling but ran out of money recently and
has taken a job as a waitress at Uncle Max's Diner. As she is
the new girl, she lacks confidence to join in the banter that
goes on a Max's, although on occasion, she does. She becomes the
object of the Stranger's attention.

Profile:
An exciting and naturally talented actress whose professional
and positive approach to her work and lively personality make
her a joy to work with. She is a keen outdoor sportswoman and
enjoys abseiling and fencing amongst others. Her training in singing
has produced a fine alto voice. Credits include:
'London Dungeon Special' Live TV, 'Death
Knell', Vardon Entertainment and 'The
Trial of Joseph K'. She has just finished filming 'Hotel
Getaway' for Granada Television. With her ability to
perform with an excellent American accent she will play the role
of Mary-Sue with charisma, conviction and enthusiasm.
Mary
is a busty blonde who knows all the tricks of her trade and can
handle any situation, sharp tongue, loves to gossip and wind others
up. She is the head waitress and pretty much runs the diner having
worked there for a number of years, attractive and spunky though
very tough. Does take any 'shit' from anybody, even Max, yet will
have a joke and a laugh with anyone who wishes to. She has a love
hate working relationship with Xeno.

is in her late twenties. A sweet and charming girl who never has
a harsh word to say about anyone. Has an understanding and sisterly
warmth about her. She is a waitress at Uncle Max's who is friendly
with the customers, but like MARY-SUE, has a good old giggle when
it comes to gossip and having a laugh.

Xeno,
full name Giovanni Santini, the diner's chef. He is an aspiring
actor, classically trained and believes that by working in the
diner he may be spotted one day or have the chance to meet the
movie stars who often visit Uncle Max's. He constantly quotes
Shakespeare to impress the ladies, who are captivated by his charming
swashbuckling manner and strong Italian accent much to the annoyance
of MARY-SUE who puts him in his place as and when she feels. They
enjoy their confrontational relationship. However he never knows
when she is teasing or when she is serious.

Tony is a regular customer at Uncle Max's. A tired old trucker
who visits the diner to unwind, enjoy the company of Mary Sue
and Annie, the harmless flirting, funnin' around and good food,
before going home to his wife with whom his relationship has worn
thin over the years. He takes each day as it comes.

one woman man. He is the local stud who is usually found with
a different girl every night. However, underneath his façade,
he is a sensitive and passionate man which women adore once they
are allowed to get close to him. He is somewhat insecure but hides
this by using his physical presence to help others.

end of the day she is quite content to stay close to home.

the prettiest girls in the county. He is clean cut, very confident
and cocky which goes with his profession. Keen to meet new faces
but is somewhat impatient. A fly by night kind of character. Works
hard, plays hard.

Joel is in his early twenties, new age redneck. Joel tries to
be cool but is quickly edgy and paranoid by his dope induced antics.
He is the passenger in the funky wagon. He and his friend Dean
are on their travels aimlessly crossing the southern states. A
modern hippie, a real wild character in his own little world.
Life for him appears to be one long party but when Dean tells
him a scary story he freaks out showing his gullibility.

Dean
is in his early twenties. New age redneck.. He is calm, collective,
serious and strange. He is Joel's only friend and manipulates
him when he chooses. He and Joel are driving along minding their
own business when Dean suddenly snaps and tells Joel a frightening
story. His story telling is disturbing, tense and gripping. His
body language is calculated in execution of the legendary tale.
He is faultless in his performance, but when sees his friend at
his wits end, he breaks into a teasing laughter.
